Last post!

Dear Diary,

We finally made it off the island! It was just my luck that day. When I was running for my life and I thought they were going to kill me, a Naval Officer appeared from no where. I just can't understand why he couldn't come earlier, before any of the killing happend. But good thing he came before any of the other kids died. It was crazy, I was like so close to dying! So here's what happend. I first was hiding in the bushes to get a hold of SamnEric to see what was up, but then he told me that Jack was chasing after me to kill me and decapitate my head, awesome. So I ran to this bush that was really hard to get into and I stayed super quiet. But SamnEric just backstabbed me and told them where I was hiding, so they tried rolling boulders on top of me and kids would come and chuck spears at me to scare me. So I had to think fast. I had two choices, to run into the trees or just charge at them. Some kid came a tried to stab me, I ran after him and chucked my spear at him, I ended up running to the beach. Then that's where we met the Naval Officer, he was dissapointed at me the most because I took the blame for everything that happend on this island. He said that we were British boys and wondered how this got out of control, but I'm glad we're off this island. I just wish all of us made us off. I'm sorry Piggy and Simon, I wish I could of stopped your death from happening.

1. Piggy tells Ralph  that he should call an assembly.

2. He tries to speak while holding to conch to get every one's attention.

3. Ralph hopes they'll follow his former of authority.

4. Jack tells them to get off his grounds.

5.  Jack just came back from the forest.

6.  Ralph said he wasn't leaving until he got Piggy's glasses back.

7. SamnEric get tied up by Jack and the hunters.

8. Rogger was truculently pushing the boulder onto Piggy while he's talking.

9. I think Jack is responsible for Piggy's death. He's the one who started this whole new tribe acting like savages. When Ralph was the leader, every one was more concerned about the fire rather than hunting and killing things. And since Jack always threatens people if they don't do something for him, maybe Roger was scared to say no when he pushed the boulder onto Piggy.

Dear diary from the dead,

I can't believe I just died yesterday, it's so insane. Well I just wanted update on things on the island since I haven't in a while. I just listened to Ralph and Piggy's conversation about my death, and well the argument wasn't too good. Ralph said it was murder and Piggy thinks it was an accident. I agree with both of them. It was murder and an accident, an accidental murder. I just hope after my death, the whole group thinks this was a lesson, and finally realizes that they need to stick together as one big team. My hope dissapeared after I heard Jack's conversation, I guess my death didn't change one thing between the two groups. They said they were going to raid the other's for Piggy's glasses, I hope someone catches them. See I should of listened to Lord Of The Flies, maybe if I did I wouldn't be here right now. I'm hoping that things get better on the island and someone stops this madness, crazy kids.

I say Jack is the one to blame. He's the one who started this whole new tribe and turned them all into savages because all he cares about is hunting. Maybe if Ralph was still there leader they wouldn't have attacked so quickly. Ralph's main goal was to never let the fire die. Maybe if they were still one group they wouldn't have been so focused on hunting and what not.

I chose to talk about the scene where Jack gives an offering to the "beastie". I choose this because it was the one that grossed me out the most, just the way they described it was nasty and disgusting. What happend in this part was that Jack decided that he should give an offering to the "beastie" so the "beastie" wouldn't harm or mess with his new group. Him and his group went out to go hunt, they came across pig. They chased it and finally they circled it and sang there chant, "Kill the pig, cut it's throat, bash him in." All of them started spearing it, until it was dead. Jack took it and sliced it. It was really nasty all the guts spilled out, ew. He then cut off the head and stuck it on a stick for the "beastie". When he stuck the stick into the ground, he told every one that he was chief of their new group. After that they ran off into the woods to go raid Ralph's group for fire.

Lord of the Flies
Chapter 7: Shadows and Tall Trees
Perspective: Simon

Dear Diary,
Today was kind of a good day, the boys were actually acting like boys. They were windy which is good because 99.9% of the time every one's all serious. Ralph got the pig right in the nose, and the whole group was chanting him on. After that they were re in acting it  and they were pretending Robert was the pig. It was pretty funny.  But I have a bad feeling when we do the skit, I over heard Jack say that he wanted to substitute a littleum to play the pig. He's so impervious with them.  You think he'd go that far? But he never really cared for them, but no no. I don't think he'd go that far, at least I hope not. He better be sagely about this. I'll keep an eye on him. Well I'll write later, some of the boys want to play rugger. I've never played but Ralph is going to teach us, he learned it back at home where he lived in a cottage on the edge of the moors.

Lord of the Flies

Chapter 6: Beast From Water

Perspective: Simon

Dear Diary,
This week has been interminably horrible. Are group is growing further and further apart, and soon we're going to split for good. Everyone besides Piggy and I are going with Jack. They're stupid, they want everyone to flail around spears at the new beastie and kill it. Who's going to take care of all the jobs? We should all split up. That's the difference between Ralph and Jack, Ralph thinks before his decisions, when Jack makes his decision right away. I don't know why everyone agrees with Jack and is waxy toward Ralph, remember they're the ones who voted him to be leader so why aren't they diffidently toward him when they speak?
Well, I'll write later, I think I just got bird guano on my shoulder, ewwh.
